Air Astana’s ninth Airbus A321LR arrived in Almaty from Hamburg on 15th October 2022, with a tenth plane scheduled for delivery earlier than the top of the 12 months. The first Airbus A321LR was delivered to Air Astana in October 2019.The newest plane is on working lease from Air Lease Corporation.
The Airbus A321LR is a long-range model of A321neo and is operated on Air Astana’s worldwide community, with locations together with Antalya, Bangkok, Dubai, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Phuket and Sharm El Sheikh. The plane is configured in a two-class structure that includes 16 seats in enterprise class and 150 seats in financial system.
The Air Astana Group now operates a fleet of 40 plane, comprising 32 Airbus A320/A321 household plane, three Boeing 767 and 5 Embraer E2. The common age of the fleet is 3.8 years.
Air Astana commenced its operations in 2002 as a three way partnership between Kazakhstan’s nationwide wealth fund, Samruk Kazyna, and BAE Systems, with respective shares of 51% and 49%. The airline is a full-service worldwide and home provider, with its low-cost division, FlyArystan, quickly rising in regional and home markets since launch in 2019.
